To join Lidl Connect, here’s what you’ll need:
A Lidl Connect SIM card. You can buy one at any Lidl store, which included your first €14.99 top up voucher. It’s a Triple SIM (Standard, Micro, Nano), so it fits all phone types.
An unlocked mobile phone. Your phone must be unlocked or compatible with Vodafone’s network.
Internet connection. Needed to activate your SIM.
An email address. Required to send you a plan summary, with a reference number and key details of your plan.
Lidl Connect SIM cards are available exclusively in Lidl stores across Ireland, for €14.99 including a top-up voucher.
You need to request an unlock code from your old mobile provider.
Find your IMEI number
Dial *#06# on your phone to get your unique IMEI code.
Make a note of this number.
Contact your old network provider (e.g., Gomo, Three, Eir) and request to unlock.
Unlocking times vary depending on the provider. Some unlock immediately, while others take a few days.
To activate your Lidl Connect SIM, Scan the QR Code on your SIM pack OR visit LidlConnect.ie/activate/sim
Get a new number
If you have requested a new number, follow the steps online.
Keep your number
If you have requested to move your number over from another network, this will be completed within a 1-2 working hours.
Once your previous SIM stops working, this is your cue to pop your Lidl Connect SIM into your phone.
Please ensure you don’t insert your Lidl Connect SIM until your existing SIM stops working.
If your Lidl Connect SIM doesn’t work, turn your phone off and on again.

You can redeem your Lidl Connect top-up voucher in two ways, depending on whether you are getting a new number or keeping your current number.
Option 1: New Numbers Only
Redeem During SIM Activation (For New Numbers Only) If you are getting a new Lidl Connect number, you can enter your voucher code during the activation process.
To activate your Lidl Connect SIM, Scan the QR Code on your SIM pack OR visit LidlConnect.ie/activate/sim
Enter your SIM details (found on your SIM card).
Select “Get a New Number” and follow the steps.
Enter your €14.99 top-up voucher code (found on the SIM receipt).
Click Activate – your SIM will be activated, and the €14.99 top-up will be applied automatically.
Option 2: Keep your number
Call 50261 & Enter the Top-up voucher number
If you are keeping your existing number, or you didn't redeem your voucher during activation, you must text “topup:” plus your 13-digit top up number to 50261.
Example: topup: 1234567890123

Most numbers switch to Lidl Connect within 1–2 hours.
